Frequently Asked Questions
Select a topic category or scroll down to the page to find your question.
|How many games will I play?
There is a 3-game guarantee, so every team will play at LEAST 3 games. Your team will likely have a double-header on either the Saturday/Sunday of the 1st weekend or the Saturday of the 2nd weekend. If you advance to the semi-finals or finals, you will play on the Sunday of the 2nd weekend. You could play up to 5 games in our tournament.
|What teams are eligible to participate?
Registration is open to all SAY sanctioned that didn't make the WCSA tournament or any WCSA team that loses the first weekend of the WCSA Tournament. NO SAY Premier teams, Select teams or Club teams are permitted.
|Can I make scheduling requests?
Yes, you may make a scheduling request. We will do our best to accommodate any scheduling request if they are submitted prior to scheduling the games on October 21st.
|Do I have to pay when I submit my application?
No, due to the style of our tournament and some organizations paying with 1 check, you can pay when you check-in prior to your first game or make arrangements with the Tournament Director.
|How much does it cost to enter the tournament?
U08-Passers: $150, U10-Wings: $150, U12-Strikers: $175, U14-Kickers: $175
|I don't have enough players from my team available to play in the tournament; can I add other players from another team to my roster so we can field a team?
No. No guest players are allowed. All players must be on the current season's legal roster signed by your coordinator.
|Is it a possibility to have games scheduled during the week?
Yes, if the tournament has too many teams to accommodate over the two weekends, or if there are too many weather delays during the tournament, games might be scheduled during the week.
|When is check-in and what should I bring?
Please check-in at the Registration Tent prior to your first game. You will need to provide a copy of your SAY Roster and turn in the payment for the tournament (or let us know who it will be paid by).
